Having a healthy, green lawn is not just about improving your home’s curb-appeal. It’s about creating a space to raise kids, enjoying beautiful Tennessee weather, and representing our community well.
My name is Jerry Farmer. After years of working for a national brand based out of Baltimore, I had a desire to support my local community in College Grove, Tennessee with my knowledge about turf nutrition.
My goal is to support our local schools, churches, and small businesses—and help our community thrive, one lawn at a time. I know trust has to be earned. That’s why I take the time to get to know each customer and deliver results that make you proud of your lawn.

Includes:
Soil & Turf Nutrition
Weed Control
Fungicide
Grub Control
Core Aeration & Overseeding

Our 8-step nutrition program is built on a soil-first approach designed to deliver consistent color, healthier turf, and long-lasting results. Each visit includes control-released fertilization and seasonally timed soil and root enhancements. The result is a thicker, greener, more resilient lawn with better performance all season long.
Timing is everything with weed control. Pre-emergents are applied in the spring to prevent grassy weeds (crabgrass, dallisgrass) from germinating, and post-emergent applications target summer and winter weeds such as dandelion, clover, nutsedge, henbit, etc. The result is a clean, healthy lawn that’s free from competition allowing your turf to thrive.
Middle Tennessee’s warm days, humid nights, and frequent irrigation create the perfect environment for lawn diseases like brown patch, dollar spot, and summer patch. Our fungicide program is designed to protect your turf during the highest-risk months during summer, when grass is under heat and moisture stress.
Our lawn program features the gold standard in turf insect control and one of the most environmentally responsible products in the industry. A single spring application provides season-long protection from grubs, armyworms, cutworms, sod webworms, and other turf-damaging insects — without the need for multiple treatments.
We include core aeration and overseeding in our lawn fertilization programs because they give your lawn the best chance to thrive. Core aeration loosens compacted soil, allowing water, air, and nutrients to reach the roots. Immediately after, we overseed to fill in bare spots and encourage thicker, greener, healthier grass.

Since Jerry has been taken care of my yard it has been an amazing experience. My yard has never been so plush, green and healthy. The last two years he has done everything and for the first time, I have not had to replace my grass and go to edit expense. I would recommend Jerry to anyone because he definitely knows what he’s doing.

I’ve had the pleasure of having Jerry with The Farmer's Touch take care of my yard for over a year now, and I can honestly say he treats every project like it’s his own home.
When he first started, my yard needed some serious attention, but he transformed it into a space I actually enjoy spending time in. What really stands out is his consistency, professionalism, and genuine pride in his work. Anyone who hires him isn’t just getting a service—they’re getting someone who truly cares about the work and the people he serves. Highly recommend supporting The Farmers Touch. You won’t be disappointed.
